BLF gives communities chance to elect its preferred candidates.

BLF recognizes that political parties have imposed their candidates on communities. BLF furthermore notes that political parties have not disclosed their lists to communities. The intention is to lock out the community’s preferred candidates from the IEC process. BLF has decided to offer these excluded and sidelined candidates an opportunity to contest the Local Government Elections (LGE) under it’s name. The only requirement is that the candidates must endorse the SANKARIST PEOPLE’S LOCAL GOVERNMENT MANIFESTO.  BLF calls on communities and candidates who have community support but have been excluded to contact the BLF National Coordinator before Wednesday 1 June 2016 via the contact details provided below . BLF gives back to the community its voice silenced by political party bosses.
