BLF supports the ZCC boycott of the Sunday Times stable

Black First Land First (BLF) stands behind the Zion Christian Church’s (ZCC) call to boycott all the papers under the Tiso Blackstar group. These newspapers are not involved in journalism, they are bulldogs of their owners – which is white monopoly capital and in particular Johann Rupert. Sundays Times, Sowetan, Sunday World and Business Day push a racist anti-black agenda.

BLF is delighted that ZCC has decided to use its economic muscle to get justice. Many blacks suffer in the hands of these so-called newspapers without recourse to justice.

The Press Ombudsman process is a joke. How can the racist rogue newspapers police themselves?

BLF calls for a media tribunal system to regulate the media in South Africa. BLF draws courage from the brave stance of ZCC. We blacks must refuse to be insulted in our own country by a foreign European minority and its agents.

We commend ZCC for showing us the way.
