BLF agrees with King Zwelithini on land expropriation

King Goodwill Zwelithini is correct to demand a signed guarantee from President Cyril Ramaphosa that the land under Ingonyama Trust won’t be expropriated. Black First Land First (BLF) agrees with the king – land in the hands of black people in freehold (title deeds) and communal tenure (traditional leaders, kings and queens) must not be expropriated. The king is correct not to trust politicians with the land question.

Politicians have, on numerous occasions, threatened the Ingonyama Trust land. This has created opportunity for white land thieves to pretend to be on the side of the king. Afriforum represents racist land thieves and is responsible for the poverty blacks suffer. No amount of threats of economic terrorism will stop land expropriation.

King Zwelithini is correct to decry lack of food security. Through cowardice, the African National Congress (ANC) government has made blacks dependent on racist farmers for food. These farmers produce poisonous food like the GMO maize. They are poisoning the nation for profits.

BLF calls on the Constitutional Review Committee to go see the king and ensure that the Ingonyama Trust and all land in the hands of black people will not be touched. BLF also calls for Ramaphosa to go kneel before the king and assure Isilo samaBandla that the Ingonyama Trust will not be touched.

BLF calls for the implementation of land expropriation without compensation before the 2019 elections. Furthermore, BLF calls for government to provide support to black farmers without further delays.
