Black First Land First Western Cape (BLF-WC) released a statement yesterday highlighting the extent which the South African Police Service (SAPS) and Stellenbosch municipality were captured by KPMG. After KPMG noticed our vigorous statement and action plan resulting from the police and municipality declining our 27 November 2018 march, they quickly alerted the Stellenbosch municipality to approve our march permit ASAP.
Either way we know that even if they had declined to approve our permit, the law allows for protests to occur without prior notice. A recent Constitutional Court ruling declares a section of the Gatherings Act unconstitutional because it limits and criminalises peaceful protests.
The ruling shows that the the black god is on the side of the revolution. BLF does not take orders from racists, we were going to continue with the march regardless. The ruling has left the racists with nowhere to hide.
Our efforts show that we will not be intimidated by white monopoly capital. BLF-WC will fight and promote the interests of Black people.
The march against KPMG is scheduled for 27 November in Stellenbosch. More details will follow.
White monopoly capital we are coming for you!
