BLF appearance at the Zondo Commission Postponed

Black First Land First (BLF) wishes to inform the public that, the BLF’s appearance at the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture (Zondo Commission) has been postponed indefinitely. The acting secretary of the Zondo Commission, Mr Peter Pedlar, has communicated the above and we thus await an alternative date.

The Deputy President of BLF, Zanele Lwana, was due to submit evidence to the Zondo Commission on the 12th of February 2019. The evidence is in relation to the corrupt activities at the National Treasury, during the tenures of the former Ministers of Finance, Pravin Gordhan and Nhlanhla Nene.

BLF is in the process of filing further evidence with the Zondo Commission against white monopoly capital. Amongst the submissions will be the matter relating to the Oppenheimers illegally establishing a private international terminal at O.R Tambo International Airport, called Fireblade Aviation.

Finally, we wish to apologise for the inconvenience caused and we thank you for your continuous support. BLF will continue to keep you informed in our bid to fight the capturing of the state by white monopoly capital and its agents.
