The State Security Minister must be stopped from using the courts to muzzle the media. The well respected journalist of the Independent Group, Independent Group, Thabo Makwakwa, is under judicial lynching for exposing the unlawfull actions of Cyril Ramaphosa. It was Makwakwa who exposed the voice note where Ramaphosa is heard admitting to corruption via the use of state resources to influence ANC conferences. The Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 12 of 2004 (Anti Corruption Act) is clear that persons in authority must report acts of corruption they become aware of or they are guilty of an offence.
Black First Land First ( BLF) has opened a criminal case against Ramaphosa for this transgression and has submitted the voice recording to the Hawks. The case is under investigation.
Makwakwa is facing the charge of exposing state secrets by publishing the names of CIA agents within the ANC. It’s ironic that the state is not investigating these traitors but is punishing the journalist for exposing CIA agents inside the ruling party.
The courts are used as insititutions of censorship by Stellenbosch and CIA agents. This must be stopped. BLF says Hands Off Thabo Makwakwa, let the journalist do his work without further harassment.
