BLF Condemns Terrorist Attack Against Venezuela

BLF Condemns Terrorist Attack Against Venezuela

Flag of Venezuela

Black First Land First (BLF) strongly condemns the attempted terrorist incursion on May 3 into Venezuela from Colombia.

We further applaud the Bolivarian security forces for successfully disarticulating the United States (US) sponsored Columbian attack which included a plan to assassinate government officials, spread violence in the country, and remove the Maduro administration from power.

The US should address the COVID-19 crisis which makes it the epicenter of the pandemic, rather than orchestrating cowardly imperialist invasions of Venezuela and other progressive countries.

BLF calls on the Chavista people to continue the fight for its sovereignty and independence. We extend our internationalist solidarity to you and President Maduro.

Black First Land First (BLF) condems the terrorist attack on the people of Iran by the war mongering imperialist United States of America (USA). The assassination of the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Quds Force, Major-General Qassem Soleimani, is nothing but a declaration of war, a scare tactic.

BLF regards Soleimani as a global martyr of all the oppressed people of the world. We are inspired by his commitment to fight to the end and spare nothing in the quest for the liberation of his people.

BLF draws inspiration from his dedication to his motherland and his people. Soleimani embodies the essence of the spirit of Land or Death!

His death in the battlefield, is the death that all revolutionaries aspire for. Nothing is higher service than such sacrifice to the liberation of the people.

We salute a fine soldier for peace and justice.

Black First Land First (BLF) joins the rest of the progressive forces of the world in standing with our beloved Evo Morales and rejecting the U.S. backed coup to replace him with a right-wing government. The coup is a crime against the Bolivian people.

We call on all of Bolivia’s political forces, including the people and their leaders, to act with responsibility in navigating the transition to the second elections, and deciding on the country’s future.

We echo the solidarity messages of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, in “categorically condemn(ing) the consummated coup d’etat against the brother president Evo”; as well as the call of the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel for “the world to mobilize for the life and freedom of Evo”

Long live the Bolivian People!

Black First Land First (BLF) joins the rest of the progressive world in congratulating the Argentinian people, the elected president, Alberto Fernandez, and Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner on their victory in the elections.

To this end we acknowledge Alberto Fernandez’ overwhelming win of 48% of the votes against the 40.47% of the votes obtained by the U.S. backed Mauricio Macri.

We wish Alberto Fernandez well in leading the country on a left course towards ending its economic crisis and reversing the neoliberal austerity measures initiated by Mauricio Macri. The victory is an indication of the hope that the Argentinian people have in Alberto Fernandez.

We acknowledge that Alberto Fernández was the cabinet chief during the period of impressive economic growth during the 2000s. We also note the legacy of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner who, as the former president of Argentina, successfully led the country for two consecutive terms from 2007 to 2015.

BLF wishes the Argentinian people under the leadership of Alberto Fernández success in building a new future free from neo liberalism and the stranglehold of U.S. imperialism.

Viva President Alberto Fernández! Down with neoliberalism!
