BLF-WC to march to KPMG in Stellenbosch

Black First Land First Western Cape (BLF-WC) released a statement yesterday highlighting the extent which the South African Police Service (SAPS) and Stellenbosch municipality were captured by KPMG. After KPMG noticed our vigorous statement and action plan resulting from the police and municipality declining our 27 November 2018 march, they quickly alerted the Stellenbosch municipality to approve our march permit ASAP.

Either way we know that even if they had declined to approve our permit, the law allows for protests to occur without prior notice. A recent Constitutional Court ruling declares a section of the Gatherings Act unconstitutional because it limits and criminalises peaceful protests.

KPMG, the rogue bulldog of White Monopoly Capital, has captured the Stellenbosch municipality and SAPS

Black First Land First Western Cape (BLF-WC) has undertaken to march to the KPMG head office in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, on the 27 November 2018, because KPMG is a rogue firm which has come to influence the politics of South Africa. We have seen KPMG’s rogue behavior by their withdrawal of a report on the SARS rogue unit, which implicated Stellenbosch’s man Pravin Gordhan. The 18 trumped up charges relating to 783 payments that President Zuma allegedly received were followed due to recommendations from a report compiled by KPMG in order to cast him as corrupt in order to achieve regime change. More recently, they legitimized the looting of VBS Bank.

KPMG has assisted in destroying black business where banks have illegally closed black people’s accounts, like they did with the Guptas.

BLF-WC has gone through the process of applying for a legal march and submitted all documents on time to the police. Our first submission was on 30 October, we got feedback on 7 November. We resubmitted on 8 November with the changes they highlighted. We received negative feedback again on 15 November. We submitted again on 16 November and got negative feedback again on 19 November. As part of our submissions we submitted lists of march leaders and marshals. In essence we fulfilled all of the requirements.

BLF to lay charges of attempted murder, assault & police brutality today

BLF to lay charges of attempted murder, assault & police brutality today

Today, 29 September 2017 at 13:00, Black First Land First (BLF) will open several criminal charges against members of the South African Police Services (SAPS) at the Hillbrow Police Station .

Our movement had a successful peaceful march against the criminal conduct of KPMG yesterday in Johannesburg that concluded with us handing in our Memorandum of Demands to the auditing firm.

However, at the end of the march and while our members were inside a park in Braamfontein, the police started shooting at us with rubber bullets, suddenly and without warning. 27 members were shot, mostly at the back and at close rage, including the BLF President Andile Mngxitama and the Treasurer General Thandiswa Yaphi. Seven BLF members suffered serious bodily injuries and consequently had to be taken to hospital for medical attention.

Our members were shot after white policemen arrived in a private vehicle, being a blue BMW 320i, and instructed the police to open fire. We believe that these are agents of white monopoly capital which has captured the state. BLF is not surprised by the unprovoked attack on our movement. White monopoly capital is digging in and using everything and everyone in its power to try and break the momentum towards revolutionary outbreak.

BLF will also do the following:

1. Demand the suspension from duty of the responsible police officers until the investigations are complete.
2. Write a letter to the Minister of Police asking for action to be taken.
3. Write to the Acting Police Commissioner to seek clarity on whether the police can shoot people with rubber bullets without good cause, without signaling a warning at peaceful demonstrators, and at close range.
4. Lay a complaint of police brutality with the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID).
6. Consider instituting civil claims against the SAPS and the responsible police officers.

Criminal charges will be laid against the police under the following details:

Date: 29 September 2017 (today)
Time: 13:00
Venue: Hilbrow Police Station, 1 Clarendon Place, Hillbrow, Johannesburg

BLF has given KPMG seven days to respond to our memorandum, failing which BLF will institute further action against it. We will continue to expose and fight white monopoly capital corruption. At the same time, BLF will not allow the police to be used against our people.

BLF is more than determined to push the struggle for Radical Economic Transformation to its logical conclusion.

BLF will march to KPMG this Thursday

Press Invitation

Black First Land First (BLF) will march to the discredited auditing firm, KPMG, on Thursday, 28 September 2017. The firm is a criminal organisation that uses the cover of doing auditing to facilitate looting by white monopoly capital. Kindly note that BLF will also undertake the following further actions:

1. Open criminal cases against KPMG.
2. Call on government and auditing institutions to cancel all business and licenses with KPMG.
3. Call on the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) to probe the role of KPMG on multiple criminal activities.

The BLF march will take place under the following details:

Date: 28 September 2017 (Thursday)
Time: 10:00am
Venue: KPMG Head Office: KPMG Crescent, 85 Empire Road, Park Town,
