BLF to face racist Solidarity group in court tomorrow

Black First Land First (BLF) shall be at the Hight Court tomorrow to defend itself against the racist right wing Afriforum linked trade union called Solidarity. This group is part of a network of Afrikaner right wingers who are opposed to land being returned to blacks. They see BLF as a threat to their position and have been using the courts to to try and silence the voice of our movement.

The court case tomorrow shows beyond doubt the length at which the land thieves will go to try and contain BLF. Solidarity is in the most vile and cynical way manipulating the pain of the families who lost their loved ones to try and stop BLF from organizing and agitating for land to be returned.

The racist right wing is abusing the judiciary. They use the courts to silence their political opponents.

BLF statement on passing on of Comrade Robert Mugabe

BLF statement on passing on of Comrade Robert Mugabe

Black First Land First (BLF) joins the rest of the progressive world in wishing former president Mugabe’s soul to Rest In Power. We also wish his family and all those affected by his passing, strength during this period. Robert Mugabe was one of the leading lights of black nationalism and warriors for land reclamation. The symbolism of Mugabe resonates with us as black people.

We are saddened by his passing but we also draw strength from his great revolutionary legacy. We hope that our people in Zimbabwe will be inspired by his legacy to rise up and do what he and his generation did, and that is fight for the return of our land and the dignity of our people! We note that as the Mugabe chapter closes Zimbabwe is already in another era (that is fast eroding his legacy) under Emmerson Mnangagwa who rose to power via an imperialist sponsored coup. We must also not be bamboozled by reactionary agendas to turn his stature into an electoral propaganda tool to perpetuate neo-colonialism in Zimbabwe and the rest of Africa. The struggle must continue!
Zimbabwe under Mugabe had resolved the land question. He returned land to Zimbabweans. Prior to 2000, approximately 6 000 white settlers owned about 80 % of the land. These whites dominated the agricultural sector of Zimbabwe.
Up until Mugabe was undemocratically removed from power, 245 000 blacks and their families owned most of the land. This explodes the myth that only Mugabe’s loyalists received land. Evidence also indicates that those associated with ZanuPF under Mugabe’s leadership, obtained only less than 10 % of the land.

We note that the post Mugabe ZanuPF doesn’t accept that there’s a crisis in Zimbabwe. We must not be held behind by bureaucratic dictates. We have to be creative, brave and make the hard proposals. Zimbabwe must work. There’s no question about that, but it must work with these two questions – politics and economics – in an intertwined manner. Yes, the politics and the economics of Zimbabwe cannot be disaggregated and resolved outside of each other. They belong together. So normalize the politics, and normalize the economics together. In SA we argue very hard that we have a role to play and our role is to bring financial help to Zimbabwe.

ZanuPF’s Mnangagwa must make peace with MDC’s Nelson Chamisa under an anti imperialist program that puts blacks first. He must cease attacking the Mugabe loyalists who fled Zimbabwe after the coup. He must allow all exiles to return and grant a blanket amnesty to those accused or convicted of politically motivated crimes. A revolutionary transitional government of national unity, which will put the people first, must be formed. All police brutality and state violence must end!

To clarify on the Zimbabwean situation – SA must advance conditional financial support to Zimbabwe, without delay. SA must give financial support on condition that Zimbabwe does the following immediately:

1. Transitional Government of National Unity
2. Amnesty to all and let the exiles return.
3. Release all political prisoners

In the long term, we need economic stability via economic integration. South Africa must show in figures what its contribution is to the front-line states.

Let’s do the Chimurenga! We must get back on the revolutionary path, paved by Robert Mugabe’s legacy.

Voetsek Prinsloo with your fake white handouts – we want our land back!

Voetsek Prinsloo with your fake white handouts – we want our land back!

Black First Land First (BLF) Free State rejects the bad faith allocation of land parcels by Smithfield farm-owner and resident, Eddie Prinsloo, to his black employees. Lest we forget, the collective black pain of these workers comes from the black holocaust which in turn is based on colonialism. Moreover colonialism itself is based on historical land theft.

BLF views this so called act of kindness on the part of Prinsloo as a manifestation and consolidation of white supremacy. The resolution of the land question in South Africa is inextricably linked to the resolution of the colonial question which in turn is based on the historical theft of black lands and the destruction of the Afrikan being.

This white man , in the first place, did not practice Land Expropriation Without Compensation (LEWC). He in fact sold his land to the state on condition that the state gives it to his workers. This is a scheme by whites to hide the fact that the likes of Prinsloo gets paid for stolen land. There is no prescription for historical land theft – and the white Prinsloo still benefited by selling the stolen land. This is a clear indication of the impunity with which whites continue to act – they will never return land without receiving payment! This is how white people have been operating across the world with fraudulent concessions and that is how they have kept blacks in bondage.

Landlessness has pushed these black workers – as it has all blacks – to the bottom of everything. To this end, Prinsloo’s solution which does not start with land without compensation is a false solution. All the problems of the black workers in this case are centered on the land question and Prinsloo tries to pull the wool over their eyes with his fraudulent deal!

It must be stated that it is only the act of whites collectively returning the land to blacks that can begin to structurally change the racist ownership patterns that currently favours whites. No amount of scheming to sell land to the state on condition that it is given to blacks absolves whites from historical land theft. Individual acts of deceptive kindness must not fool our people! Prinsloo is feigning kindness. We must not be distracted from repossessing all the stolen land (being 80% of land in SA) that is currently in white hands. We must expropriate the expropriators without paying a cent.

BLF says voetsek Rupert!

BLF says voetsek Rupert!

Black First Land First (BLF) wants to categorically state that the settler coloniser and land thief, Johan Rupert, who is in possession of the land stolen from the black majority has no grounds to talk about theft.

Johan Rupert is a thief! He remains the neocolonial master who thought he could simplistically replace the then Minister of Finance Des Van Royen with his puppet, Pravin Gordhan, so that he can continue to pull the strings of the South Africa’s economy.

Rupert has been complicit in apartheid era corruption and other economic crimes and to this end has evidently acted with impunity. The post 1994 neo colonial settlement has ensured that Rupert et al – despite credible evidence by reputable State instructed investigations including Ciex, Heath and that of the Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane – escapes prosecution to the full extent of the law for the historical theft of R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). To this end he has thus far also gotten away with his primary role in state capture by white monopoly capital as evidence by the appointment of Pravin Gordhan as Minister of Finance at his instance.

How does the land thief and colonial emperor Johann Rupert, right from the platform of the annual Remgro board meeting of land thieves in Geneva justify accusing Zuma’s Radical Economic Transformation (RET) of being theft, when in actual fact, he himself continues to benefit from theft. It is highly disturbing that a white supremacist gets to arrogantly, and in a condescending manner, denounce something which aims to return the economy to the hands of the black majority that remains economically oppressed because of Rupert and his friends.

Rupert continues to exploit black people! The neocolony is expressed in this moment where a white land thief can shout from across the seas about RET, yet looting the wealth of this country for the benefit of a white minority.

The reality remains that Rupert like Cecil John Rhodes embodies colonialism and Blacks are uniting to take down this oppressor. ‘Rhodes Must Fall’ united Black people under a common understanding that a statue must fall. BLF says we must move from ‘Rhodes Must Fall’ to ‘Rupert Must Fall’.

BLF has declared 2017 to be the year of land return! The Western Cape chapter of BLF has located Rupert’s farms and will take back this land by any means necessary.

As BLF, we have already taken back the land in the AWB stronghold of Ventersdorp. We are now going to take back land from Johan Rupert! The only thief in this country is the colonial settler!

Black people must unite and take back the land! BLF will continue to take back the land until all the stolen land is in black hands. We will shutdown Remgro! We will lay charges of economic sabotage against Rupert!

Land or Death!
