The Public Protector punished for fighting apartheid corruption

The Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, is being dragged to court for ruling that ABSA must pay back the money stolen from the people of South Africa during apartheid. It is no secret that Bankorp was part of a list of organizations and individuals that looted over R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) just before the end of apartheid. Others include the Rupert family.

Bankorp has since been swallowed by ABSA and the Public Protector was therefore correct to find that ABSA must pay back the money stolen from SARB.

Black First Land First (BLF) supports the correct finding which has been overturned in a political decision of the North Gauteng High Court and erroneously buttressed by the Constitutional Court. It’s a simple matter that was never disputed that Bankorp, together with others, benefited unlawfully from the R26 billion so called “life boats” which was an illegal mechanism to steal money from SARB.

The irony is that those who stole from SARB found favour with the current President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and his cronies like Pravin Gordhan who are linked to the looters of SARB and are therefore protected.

Maria Ramos, who was CEO of ABSA at the time that the Public Protector’s report was released, is one of the CR17 donors. This explains why the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has hastened to drag the Public Protector to court. This is the revenge of the CR17 donors who have captured the state.

Is it not ironic that real corruption like the over R200 billion Steinhoff mess has not seen the culprits such as Markus Jooste brought before the courts?

The dragging of the Public Protector to court because she ruled that ABSA must pay back the money must be seen as evidence beyond doubt that the Ramaphosa administration is working for white monopoly capital. This is the fascism and tyranny of Stellenbosch. It’s an insult to the independence of the state and the sovereignty of our people.

Let no one be confused about why the Public Protector is in court. It has nothing to do with any wrongdoing on her part. It’s all part of the fight back by the CR17 donors who have captured the state through capturing the State President.

BLF calls on the nation to stand with the Public Protector and to pray for her protection. This is an evil war.

Raid on Sekunjalo Holdings: Why has FSCA not raided offices of Jooste & Steinhoff?

Raid on Sekunjalo Holdings: Why has FSCA not raided offices of Jooste & Steinhoff?

The raid by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), on the offices of the Sekunjalo Holdings that is chaired by Dr Iqbal Survé, is the most unfortunate development since 1994.

There is little doubt that the apartheid regime like raid was a political attack on the independence of the media. It was moreover an intimidation tactic. It is clear that someone very high up in government doesn’t like the ground breaking investigative journalism that has been produced by Independent Media led by Survé.

The nation knows now that the 2017 ANC elective conference was bought with an amount of R1 billion. The revelations in this regard are thanks to the Independent Media group owned by Senkunjalo Holdings.

Black First Land First (BLF) asks: When is the FSCA raiding the offices of Steinhoff International? Also, why has the FSCA not raided the offices of Markus Jooste, whose proven corruption has caused the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) to lose over R20 billion? Is it because Jooste belongs to the cabal which has been exposed as funders of the CR17 campaign?

Why arrest Bushiri & Mary but let white perpetrators go unpunished?

Why arrest Bushiri & Mary but let white perpetrators go unpunished?

“I have a phrase for this: the racial allocation of guilt.” – Fanon

In early January Shepherd Bushiri was falsely accused of being responsible for a stampede at his church that left 3 dead and 17 others injured in that he had not complied with certain safety regulations. When violent protests broke out by some blacks against him Black First Land First (BLF) cautioned against opportunists who were using them for nefarious agendas. The CRL Commission has this past Friday absolved Bushiri of any guilt regarding the incident at his church. BLF welcomes this decision. We are vindicated by it.

BLF notes that the Hawks have since arrested Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary on allegations of fraud, money laundering and the contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA).

We note further that the current arrests and previous accusations are made in the context of a white monopoly capital (WMC) sponsored campaign by African governments to shut down certain black churches with massive followings that are problematic to the ruling class. At the same time the sins of the clergy including sexual offences, fraud, corruption and money laundering in white churches go unpunished.

BLF has opened multiple cases with the SAPS which are high profile against white offenders involving similar allegations to that of Bushiri – of fraud, corruption and money laundering. None of the perpetrators have been arrested and or interrogated by the HAWKS. BLF believes that that this is because the prevailing white power structure allows whites to act criminally with impunity. Blacks on the other hand are guilty without any proven prior transgression.

We ask why have the following perpetrators not been arrested and questioned by the HAWKS?

1. Johan Rupert & 16 others charged for theft of R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB)
2. ABSA and 17 other banks charged for corruption, theft, fraud, money laundering etc
3. Markus Jooste, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Steinhoff International charged for fraud, corruption, money laundering, etc
4. Adriano Mazzotti charged for money laundering, fraud, corruption, etc
5. Nicky and Johnathan Oppenheimer charged for fraud, bribery and corruption, etc

Moreover WMC has stolen over R510 billion between 2010 and 2014 through tax evasion and money laundering. Why have these perpetrators not been arrested and interrogated by the HAWKS?

BLF calls for real justice to take its course. Treat all suspected offenders equally, not racially!

Steinhoff criminal case referred to Stellenbosch Police Station

Steinhoff criminal case referred to Stellenbosch Police Station

Black First Land First (BLF) has on Tuesday, 12 December 2017, opened a case of corruption, fraud and money laundering against Steinhoff. The case specifically targets the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Markus Jooste and the entire Board of Directors of Steinhoff including the six chartered accountants who sit on the same board. The case was opened at the Hilbrow Police Station under the reference “CAS 378/12/2017”. BLF has been advised by the police this morning that the case was subsequently transferred to the Stellenbosch Police Station and registered under the reference “CAS 347/12/2017”

BLF wishes to thank the police for showing this level of efficiency in speedily transferring the case near the headquarters of Steinhoff – which is based in Stellenbosch – where the crimes that has cost the nation over R17 billion were hatched.

BLF will be monitoring the progress of the case to ensure speedy prosecution of the culprits. We reiterate that the biggest corruption in South Africa is committed by white monopoly capital which the white media always covers up.

R17 billion is not small change. Furthermore, those who parceled out public funds to white monopoly capital, such as Pravin Gordhan and Mcebisi Jonas, must account for this grand corruption. BLF believes that evidence will show that Markus Jooste and Steinhoff ran the biggest corruption scheme in 2017. We will leave no stone unturned in the fight to end the corruption of white monopoly capital.
