BLF appearance at the Zondo Commission Postponed

Black First Land First (BLF) wishes to inform the public that, the BLF’s appearance at the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture (Zondo Commission) has been postponed indefinitely. The acting secretary of the Zondo Commission, Mr Peter Pedlar, has communicated the above and we thus await an alternative date.

The Deputy President of BLF, Zanele Lwana, was due to submit evidence to the Zondo Commission on the 12th of February 2019. The evidence is in relation to the corrupt activities at the National Treasury, during the tenures of the former Ministers of Finance, Pravin Gordhan and Nhlanhla Nene.

BLF is in the process of filing further evidence with the Zondo Commission against white monopoly capital. Amongst the submissions will be the matter relating to the Oppenheimers illegally establishing a private international terminal at O.R Tambo International Airport, called Fireblade Aviation.

Finally, we wish to apologise for the inconvenience caused and we thank you for your continuous support. BLF will continue to keep you informed in our bid to fight the capturing of the state by white monopoly capital and its agents.

Why arrest Bushiri & Mary but let white perpetrators go unpunished?

Why arrest Bushiri & Mary but let white perpetrators go unpunished?

“I have a phrase for this: the racial allocation of guilt.” – Fanon

In early January Shepherd Bushiri was falsely accused of being responsible for a stampede at his church that left 3 dead and 17 others injured in that he had not complied with certain safety regulations. When violent protests broke out by some blacks against him Black First Land First (BLF) cautioned against opportunists who were using them for nefarious agendas. The CRL Commission has this past Friday absolved Bushiri of any guilt regarding the incident at his church. BLF welcomes this decision. We are vindicated by it.

BLF notes that the Hawks have since arrested Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary on allegations of fraud, money laundering and the contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA).

We note further that the current arrests and previous accusations are made in the context of a white monopoly capital (WMC) sponsored campaign by African governments to shut down certain black churches with massive followings that are problematic to the ruling class. At the same time the sins of the clergy including sexual offences, fraud, corruption and money laundering in white churches go unpunished.

BLF has opened multiple cases with the SAPS which are high profile against white offenders involving similar allegations to that of Bushiri – of fraud, corruption and money laundering. None of the perpetrators have been arrested and or interrogated by the HAWKS. BLF believes that that this is because the prevailing white power structure allows whites to act criminally with impunity. Blacks on the other hand are guilty without any proven prior transgression.

We ask why have the following perpetrators not been arrested and questioned by the HAWKS?

1. Johan Rupert & 16 others charged for theft of R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB)
2. ABSA and 17 other banks charged for corruption, theft, fraud, money laundering etc
3. Markus Jooste, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Steinhoff International charged for fraud, corruption, money laundering, etc
4. Adriano Mazzotti charged for money laundering, fraud, corruption, etc
5. Nicky and Johnathan Oppenheimer charged for fraud, bribery and corruption, etc

Moreover WMC has stolen over R510 billion between 2010 and 2014 through tax evasion and money laundering. Why have these perpetrators not been arrested and interrogated by the HAWKS?

BLF calls for real justice to take its course. Treat all suspected offenders equally, not racially!

#TakeBLFtoParliament, heed the call of the revolution!

#TakeBLFtoParliament, heed the call of the revolution!

The Oppenheimers have shut down the #TakeBLFtoParliament campaign that was hosted by the BackaBuddy crowdfunding platform. This is not surprising. White monopoly capital (WMC) is hellbent on stopping BLF from going to parliament in 2019! Backed by its huge following – the wretched of the earth in general – BLF has reinforced its unwavering commitment to realising its objective of using politics to end politics. By going to parliament BLF will create a second arm of assault against the anti black system while continuing with the first arm of extra parliamentary mass insurrection and direct action. This two pronged approach to political engagement is in furtherance of destroying white supremacy and creating a fully responsive Sankarist state.

Hence we call on our people to intensify the campaign to #TakeBLFtoParliament by donating towards the deposit amount of R605000,00 that is required for BLF to register with the Independent Electoral (IEC) to contest the next general election. The deposit amount is by law refundable once a political party obtains at least one seat in parliament. BLF is confident it will get seats in parliament.

Any sum of money donated, however small or huge or in between, will be appreciated. If you want to donate to BLF, please make your payment into our bank account, details of which are as follows:

Oppenheimers have shut down #TakeBLFtoParliament on Back-a-Buddy crowdfunding platform

Black First Land First (BLF) notes with disdain that the Oppenheimer family has shut down the #TakeBLFtoParliament crowdfunding campaign on the BackaBuddy platform. BLF has intensified its attack on white monopoly capital (WMC) and the Oppenheimer family. To this end it has intervened both in the Parliamentary Committee’s probe into how the Oppenheimer-owned Fireblade Aviation got to operate a private terminal inside the OR Tambo International Airport; and through the laying of criminal charges of fraud, corruption and bribery against Nicky and Johnathan Oppenheimer in that they had illegally acquired an airport terminal inside a national key point which in turn entails their corrupt relationship with the ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC).

A few hours after BLF confronted the Oppenheimers, the BackaBuddy platform threatened to shut down the #TakeBLFtoParliament campaign on their website, and yesterday followed through on its threat. No dialogue! No Explanation! White capital showed us its power. BLF had engaged BackaBuddy prior to the launch of the campaign over a period of nearly 3 months and ensured that all criteria was adhered to, yet those who run BackaBuddy contacted BLF to demand that the #TakeBLFtoParliament campaign be cancelled due to it “being divisive”.
