BLF applauds opening of Zuma Bridge with its interlink from Kosi Bay to Maputo

Black First Land First (BLF) applauds the revolutionary living legacy of President Zuma. Part of this  legacy is President Zuma‘s work in strengthening relations with African countries, including Mozambique, that played a role during the struggles against slavery, apartheid and colonialism. He ensured that South Africa (SA) and Mozambique benefit from their geographical proximity and put effort into growing their historical relationship.

President Zuma’s work – via the Bi-National Commission (BNC) which was in furtherance of bringing Mozambique and SA closer so as to facilitate the development of their relations in all areas of mutual cooperation – is indeed unprecedented of a president post 1994. To this end with his counterpart in Mozambique, a BNC structured and chaired by the two relevant Heads of State, was signed on December 13, 2011, and inaugurated in October 2015. This led to a number bilateral agreements being concluded including a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Transport, Tourism, Communications, Maritime Security Cooperation, and Frequency Bands. As at the end of 2017 there were about 300 South African entities operating in Mozambique in various fields including financial services, retail, hospitality, and energy.

Message from the National Secretary for Political Education

We are currently experiencing the intensification of the global war for the consolidation of white imperialist power. In this context imperialism is sharpening its efforts to effect regime change in the country by removing the pro BRICS agenda President Zuma and replacing him with a puppet of imperialism, Cyril Ramaphosa. In this regard we have witnessed how opposition parties and civil society entities, in collaboration with imperialism, have tried to create a constitutional crisis in the country to lead it into paralysis. To this end Black First Land First (BLF) has counseled that the best form of defence is attack – hence its two pronged response to destroy the enemy via the campaigns #HandsOffZumaEconomicLiberationNow and #FightImperialismTakeBackTheLand. On President Zuma and Land expropriation

President Zuma has made the most important, the most significant pronouncement since 1994 – expropriation of land without compensation. If we get the  land question right, we can become a people again.

Julius Malema says “let’s unite, here’s our 6%, let’s expropriated land without compensation”. There was a chance. It doesn’t matter what his motives are.

We know that EFF knew what the intention of Mthembu and Hannekom  was. They colluded with them to play political games and sabotage the President.  Continue reading “Notes on the ANN 7 interview of National Convener, Andile Mngxitama on 4 March 2017”

BLF Condemns Black On Black Violence Promoted By Politicians

image

Black First Land First (BLF) condemns the senseless black on black violence promoted by policians from parliament to the streets. The instigation of violence by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) on spurious grounds feeds into the imperialist agenda to create conditions for regime change in BRICS countries just like what happened in Brazil. There are better reasons to hold President Zuma (in fact the whole ANC) accountable, even via disrupting parliament, such as his failure to act against white monopoly capital which is linked to his failure to resolve the questions of land, education, unemployment, economy, housing, poverty etcetera – with the understanding that the real fight must be directed against the main enemy being white supremacy and white monopoly capital.
