The Public Protector punished for fighting apartheid corruption

The Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, is being dragged to court for ruling that ABSA must pay back the money stolen from the people of South Africa during apartheid. It is no secret that Bankorp was part of a list of organizations and individuals that looted over R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) just before the end of apartheid. Others include the Rupert family.

Bankorp has since been swallowed by ABSA and the Public Protector was therefore correct to find that ABSA must pay back the money stolen from SARB.

Black First Land First (BLF) supports the correct finding which has been overturned in a political decision of the North Gauteng High Court and erroneously buttressed by the Constitutional Court. It’s a simple matter that was never disputed that Bankorp, together with others, benefited unlawfully from the R26 billion so called “life boats” which was an illegal mechanism to steal money from SARB.

The irony is that those who stole from SARB found favour with the current President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and his cronies like Pravin Gordhan who are linked to the looters of SARB and are therefore protected.

Maria Ramos, who was CEO of ABSA at the time that the Public Protector’s report was released, is one of the CR17 donors. This explains why the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has hastened to drag the Public Protector to court. This is the revenge of the CR17 donors who have captured the state.

Is it not ironic that real corruption like the over R200 billion Steinhoff mess has not seen the culprits such as Markus Jooste brought before the courts?

The dragging of the Public Protector to court because she ruled that ABSA must pay back the money must be seen as evidence beyond doubt that the Ramaphosa administration is working for white monopoly capital. This is the fascism and tyranny of Stellenbosch. It’s an insult to the independence of the state and the sovereignty of our people.

Let no one be confused about why the Public Protector is in court. It has nothing to do with any wrongdoing on her part. It’s all part of the fight back by the CR17 donors who have captured the state through capturing the State President.

BLF calls on the nation to stand with the Public Protector and to pray for her protection. This is an evil war.

SARB Hands off VBS Mutual Bank Now!

The African National Congress (ANC) of Cyril Ramaphosa is killing black empowerment. Black First Land First (BLF) is not suprised by the shutting down of the VBS Mutual Bank by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). SARB is controlled by white monopoly capital (WMC) and serves the white owned banks.

The withdrawal of the motion on the nationalization of SARB by the ANC of Cyril Ramaphosa is part of the plan to keep the South African financial sector white. VBS Mutual Bank is being punished for being black owned and for giving a loan to former President Jacob Zuma.

We note a similar destructive role played by SARB in the closure of the Bank of Baroda (BoB). We note also how the same SARB has in fact taken the Public Protector to court to ensure that ABSA does not pay back the money it stole from SARB itself. We further note how quickly SARB jumped to defend the white owned Capitec bank when its dodgy accounting methods were exposed by Viceroy.

SARB has a duty to protect and support the VBS Mutual Bank. However, SARB has chosen to conspire to shut down VBS Mutual Bank like it has done with the BoB.. SARB wants to keep the South African banking system white.

BLF will not allow the shutting down of VBS Mutual Bank. We call on Cyril Ramaphosa to instruct SARB to stop its evil plan to shut down the bank. The irrational conditions are designed to kill black banks.

BLF will be mounting pickets at SARB until a sustainable solution is found. VBS Mutual Bank must be fully licensed before the end of 2018.

SARB is the enemy of Radical Economic Transformation (RET). It is moreover the instrument used by WMC to kill black empowerment. All the governors of SARB must be fired including its Registrar.

BLF to take action against Johan Rupert

BLF is outraged by the offensive and racist comments by one of the most corrupt white monopoly capitalist, Johann Rupert. This beneficiary of apartheid and colonialism has come out against the Radical Economic Transformation (RET) by President Jacob Zuma and called it “theft”. Rupert is an economic terrorist who is rallying the whole of white monopoly capital (WMC) to attack the economy so as to stop transformation.

Johann Rupert and a few other white monopoly capitalists want to keep the South African economy in their hands. The attack on RET is racist because it equates transformation to a crime. This is because white racists believe that blacks are criminals. Racism is irrational and baseless. The accusation by Rupert that RET is theft, is in the same category as other racist acts.

BLF is aware that there is a massive drive towards economic sabotage to effect regime change. Johann Rupert and the rest of the white monopoly capitalists are I nvolved in economic terrorism. They want the people to suffer even more and thereby cause political stability in the country which they hope will cause the people to them against the government to remove President Zuma. Already the mining sector under the political directive by Johann Rupert is retrenching workers.

BLF is going to take the following actions against Johann Rupert:

1. Open a case of racism at the Equality Court.
2. Lay a criminal case of High Treason.
3. Undertake mass action at Ramgro Headquarters in Stellenbosch.
4. Call on the police to fast track the corruption case that BLF opened against him for stealing from the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) in excess of R2 billion.
5. Follow up on the over R60 million debt incurred for services by a municipality in Mpumalanga. Rupert must pay!

All these actions will be taken urgently!

BLF is also aware that Johann Rupert has moved billions of rands to Europe. This may possibly be part of the annual R60 billion illegal movement of capital outside South Africa. BLF will investigate this as well.

BLF undertakes to help Sun Multi Serve to recover R150 million frozen by Reserve Bank

Black First Land First (BLF) President, Andile Mngxitama, together with the BLF KwaZulu Natal Provincial leadership met with members of Sun Multi Serve in Durban on 13 August 2017.

We discussed all the issues pertaining to their struggle to recover R150 million which has been frozen by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). BLF has been given the mandate to pursue this case. To this end we have been mandated to find justice and to make sure that the R150 million is returned. The meeting agreed that a part of this huge investment, once recovered, should be used towards the establishment of a black bank. BLF had asked for further particulars which has now been provided by Sun Multi Serve. These particulars clearly show, without any shadow of doubt, that Christo Wiese (who is the Shoprite owner, one of the richest persons in South Africa and the funder of the National Party under apartheid) had a big role in shutting down the Sun Multi Serve stokvel and freezing its account. At the relevant time Christo Wiese was the Registrar of Banks which is a division of SARB. He occupied this post from 1995 to 2003. It is also important to note that Wiese had previously held the position of the Deputy General Manager of SARB from 1989 to 1991. BLF is of the view that Wiese acted as he did against Sun Multi Serve, in defence and protection of the monopoly of banks by white monopoly capital.

BLF is now developing a strategy to recover these funds and shall pursue this case to finality. We reiterate our call for a Black Bank to be established without any further delay.
