Black First Land First (BLF) notes that Duduzane Zuma has issued a statement wherein he pledges that 100% of all the proceeds of the sales of his media businesses (ANN7 & The New Age) shall be given to the black youth.
No business person, black or white, has undertaken such a gesture. We, as the BLF, welcome and recognize this as an unprecedented pathbreaking act of solidarity and patriotism.
Duduzane Zuma is setting an example for all black business people who are patriotic to black people – not to only look after themselves, but to the people first.
BLF congratulates Duduzane Zuma for this move. We shall be encouraging the black youth to send letters and proposals to Duduzane Zuma asking that this money be made available for their development.
BLF is setting up an agricultural college in Ventersdorp. To this end the youth of Ventersdorp are encouraged to take advantage of Duduzane Zuma’s pledge; to make sure that the college is up and running; and the land is put to productive use.
Now is the time to take care of the people – to put the interests of the people first – so that our people can get out of poverty.
We once more say, Halala Duduzane Zuma Halala
